About Benji
Benji is a handsome, large, medium-haired boy looking for a calm and affectionate home where he can truly relax and enjoy life.
This special boy was returned to Bristol ARC when his previous owner discovered he was not an overly cuddly cat. When Benji first arrived at our centre, he was understandably very nervous and unsure. However, it didn’t take long for him to realise he was safe. Within just a week or so, Benji had blossomed into an affectionate and cuddly lap cat who loves spending time with his people.
Although Benji has come a long way, he can still be a little startled by sudden movements and loud noises, so he would benefit from a peaceful home where he can settle in at his own pace.
Benji is currently being gradually weaned off gabapentin, which has been used to help him stay calm in the cattery environment. Our aim is for him to come off this medication completely once he is settled into his new home, with his new family continuing this process as advised by our veterinary team.
With patience, love and a calm environment, we’re sure Benji will continue to flourish into the affectionate companion we know he can be.
Outdoor access is required for this boy that likes to have a little mooch around in the big outdoors. If you have a quiet home and the patience to allow Benji the time to settle into his new home at his own pace, please submit an application.
