About Sheba
Sheba was brought to Bristol ARC after being found as an injured stray. He had a nasty wound on his neck and the BARC veterinary team gave all the treatment and care that he needed to prepare him for his new home. A handsome boy looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to thrive as an indoor cat. As Sheba is FIV-positive, he will need to remain indoors where he can live a safe and comfortable life.
This lovely boy has spent some time in foster care so we could observe how he adapted to home life. Initially, he was very nervous and unsure of his surroundings, but with patience and consistency he has gradually come out of his shell and revealed himself to be a sweet, affectionate boy who genuinely enjoys the company of people. Sheba is a real lap cat and he loves to sit with people and enjoys cuddles and gentle strokes.
We are looking for an experienced and patient adopter who understands that some cats need time to settle into a new environment.
As his confidence grows, Sheba is beginning to discover the joys of play. He has recently started showing an interest in toys and enjoys watching and chasing moving objects. We hope that, with time and encouragement, his playful side will continue to blossom. He also enjoys the occasional evening zoomies, which are always entertaining to watch!
True to his name, Sheba appreciates the finer things in life. He loves good food, cosy beds, and all the comforts of a warm home.
