About Gorgeous George
Gorgeous George is an inquisitive 20 month old male rabbit that came in to us when his owner could no longer care for him.
Gorgeous George was initially nervous, but has come on leaps and bounds and gained a lot of confidence – he wants to be involved in everything going on around him and is very inquisitive. He knows his own mind about what he wants to play with or do – being sassy and confident at times.
He spent about a month in a foster home where his sweet nature was evident – he would run over to greet his carers and, once familiar with them, would happily be stroked (and beg for treats!).
Gorgeous George is a very clean boy in his pen – almost entirely using his tray for toileting. He keeps himself entertained playing with his toys and ripping up cardboard boxes and needs to be provided with new enrichment items regularly. He also loves to seek out treats which have been hidden for him. As he is an albino, his vision isn’t the best so he get spooked by sudden movements and may thump.
We are ideally looking for an indoor home as Gorgeous George is used to being inside. We feel he could be a very happy ‘free roaming’ indoor rabbit or would need a large enclosure with lots of activities and toys to keep him entertained. He will need to be bonded with an existing neutered female and ideally the adopters will have experience of bonding, or can be advised by a reputable bonding service. He will hopefully further gain his confidence after being bonded with another rabbit.
