About Dora
Beautiful Dora came into our care after a kind member of the public noticed she had been wandering as a stray for some time. This gorgeous long-haired grey girl was quite matted when she arrived, so she’ll need regular brushing to keep her luxurious coat in great condition.
Dora is incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with her favourite people. She enjoys weaving between your legs and gently rubbing her face against you to ask for attention, making her a lovely companion for someone who appreciates a cat that enjoys human company.
Like many cats, Dora also has a little bit of sass! She isn’t shy about letting you know when she’s had enough fuss or if she’d prefer to be stroked differently. When she’s ready for some space, she may give a gentle nip or softly hold onto an arm or leg to communicate her boundaries. She’ll thrive with experienced adult owners who understand feline body language and will respect her signals. Outdoor access is required as she likes to explore her surroundings.
Dora is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can enjoy plenty of affection on her own terms. In return, she’ll make a devoted and entertaining addition to the family. As Dora can be anxious she is currently on medication and will be weaned off when she is in her new home.
