Meet Dipper & Dani: Bristol’s Inseparable Lovebirds

This Valentine’s Day, love is truly in the air at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, thanks to Dipper and Dani, a bonded pair of lovebirds who are inseparable. As their names suggest, these two share a deep bond and spend their days cuddling, flying, singing, and enjoying life together.

Both birds came into our care when their previous owner could no longer look after them. They are used to free flying around the room and enjoy exploring their environment together.

Dipper and Dani are not hand-tame, so they wouldn’t suit a home looking to handle them frequently. They much prefer to be left to their own devices, where they can cuddle up and fly around. With an experienced owner and a quiet home, we’re confident they could gradually become more comfortable with gentle interaction.

Both love their perches, swings, and toys, and are an absolute joy to watch. They can be vocal and enjoy a little chat with the staff, adding even more charm to their already inseparable partnership.
