Bristol’s Recovered Red Flag Rabbit: Meet Whippy (Now on Hinge)

Whippy is a one-year-old neutered male rabbit who used to wave a couple of red flags… but in the most lovable way possible.

He’s confident, he’s dominant and he used to be partial to a hump. Since neutering this behaviour has curtailed and we know there’s a female bun who is looking for this kind of energy in her life.

Whilst Whippy does give a few red flags (the humping used to be quite a big one on first dates), and he is likely to steal food off your plate. He’s very food-motivated and will take treats straight from your hand without hesitation. Confidence? Through the roof.

Green flags? He’s a total softie cute boy who will happily come and sit on your lap.

Whippy is lucky enough to have found a new home (as of Wednesday!). He may like to be in charge, but it was time for someone to love him for exactly who he is.

Ashley Ferguson, Animal Carer at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre said ‘While Whippy used to show some red flags, since neutering the humping has stopped. He’s also a total softie who will happily come and sit on your lap once he’s decided you’re worthy of his affection.’

Red flags:
🚩 Dominant
🚩 Ex Humper
🚩 Thinks he’s the boss

Green flags:
Incredibly friendly
Loves people
Lap-sitting softie
No health issues
Big personality, bigger heart

So we are making this Valentines day a day for Whippy to officially become Bristol’s Recovered Red Flag (Rabbit)… but the kind you fall for anyway.
