At just under four years old, Dom was severely underweight, his ribs and bones clearly visible beneath his rough, patchy fur. His skin was sore and scabbed in places, a stark reflection of the hardship he had endured alone on the streets.

Since arriving at Bristol A.R.C., Dom has made incredible progress, gaining nearly 4kg in weight and a whole lot of confidence and joy. Thanks to dedicated care, nutritious food, and a warm bed, his fur is recovering, his scabs have healed, and his loving personality has truly begun to shine.
Dom is playful, excitable, and endlessly affectionate. He adores soft toys and carries them around like prized possessions, often proudly parading them past you for a quick show and tell. He’s also a social butterfly, loving every new person he meets, always ready to share his joy.
This charming boy walks beautifully on the lead and is calm around other dogs, but when it comes to home life, he’s happiest as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention.
Though his start was rough, Dom’s future is looking bright and we’re thrilled to share that he’s already settled into his new home!
Dom’s story is a powerful reminder of the resilience of rescue dogs and the transformative power of love and care. We are so proud of him and beyond excited for this next chapter in his life.
From the streets to a soft toy–filled sofa, Dom truly deserves the world and thanks to his new family, he’s finally getting it.
