From a Box in the Park to Stealing Every Heart
Melody has quickly become a staff favourite at Bristol A.R.C., not just for her story, but for the way she shines every day.
In the middle of Castle Park, Melody was found abandoned in a fabric box, with no lid and only a few small nuggets of food inside. She arrived with us in February as a stray, and sadly she hasn’t had any interest since then.
We don’t know exactly what Melody’s past looks like, but she clearly has experience with people and a level of trust that shines through straight away. She settles quickly into interaction and has a natural confidence about her.
Melody is a female mini lop with a soft curly grey coat and a bright, inquisitive nature. She’ll often come straight over to greet you when you enter the room, keen to see what you’re doing and be part of it.
She’s a very active rabbit who needs plenty of space. When she’s happy, she’ll zoom around and show off with energetic binkies, really letting her personality shine.
What makes Melody especially special is her character, often described as more like a dog than a rabbit. She loves being near people, happily sitting beside you at veg time, accepting gentle fuss and even climb onto your lap just to be close.
We are looking for a home where Melody can be slowly introduced and bonded with a neutered male rabbit. She is social, confident, and benefits from both rabbit and human companionship.
She hasn’t had a single enquiry since arriving in February, but she’s the kind of rabbit where it only takes one meeting to completely fall in love with her. 💛
