We’re delighted to have received a grant from Petplan Charitable Trust towards our outreach clinics.

The trust has awarded us £10,000 to continue our vital outreach work in Bristol.

As well as helping, healing and homing animals at our Rescue Centre on Albert Road, we currently run two outreach clinics in Lawrence Weston and Knowle West where we offer free access to veterinary care for pet owners on lower incomes/benefits.

Last year alone, our outreach clinics helped 3,000 animals and their families in Bristol. This vital service means we can keep more families together by enabling those facing hardship to hang onto their pets and care for them at home.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have received this much needed grant towards our outreach work. It will make a huge difference to the services we can provide and the number of families we are able to support in Bristol,” said Anna O’Dell, Fundraising & Communications Manager for Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.

“We want to say a big thank you to Petplan Charitable Trust and all their supporters for your kindness. This really will do the world of good for animals and their owners in Bristol”.

Founded in 1994, the Petplan Charitable Trust (PCCT) has a simple mission to promote the health and welfare of animals in the UK and beyond. Funding comes from the generosity of pet owners, who can opt to give a small donation to the Trust when they take out or renew a policy with Petplan.
