We love sharing our animal expertise with people in our community
Want to know more about what we do? Connecting with people in our community is a key part of our work to improve the lives of Bristol’s animals.
Our expert team visits schools, nurseries, universities, community groups, social clubs and local businesses to share stories about what goes on here at the rescue centre, as well as best practice advice on animal welfare, safety around dogs, and responsible animal care.
We tailor our messages to each audience to make sure you get the most from our visit. Talks can range from 20 minute assemblies, to more detailed, hour-long sessions. This is no boring, long-winded talk – our volunteers make it fun and lively for all audiences, with props, pictures, videos, and plenty of opportunities to ask all those burning questions you might have!
How it works
You’re just three easy steps away from booking a talk with one of our lovely team:
- Fill out the form below to request a talk.
- We’ll call you to discuss the specifics of your talk, our technical requirements, and arrange a time and date.
- We usually ask for a minimum £50 donation to cover our costs which you can either pay in advance or on the day. Alternatively, you can organise a fundraiser with your organisation – we can provide support and materials for this.
