Hi! I’m Meg

Meg is a Rottweiler Crossbreed, who was found tied up to a bench before being bought down the Bristol A.R.C. She is a very friendly girl, but doesn't always realise her size and has a tenancy to invade your personal space. She isn't sure how to react around dogs and she will usually become tense and just stare, but occasionally she can become vocal towards another dog. However, other than her uncertainty around other dogs, she usually walks nicely on lead. Meg can use humping as a coping mechanism when she becomes anxious or overwhelmed. She usually responds well to having her attention diverted to playing with her toys, but occasionally she needs to be taken away from the person and introduced to a different activity. Meg loves having lots of fuss and human attention; she also loves to play with tennis balls, which comes in handy during her training as she enjoys working for them (food rewards also go down a treat!) Meg needs an experienced adopter who understands her anxieties and knows how to help her feel relaxed and safe in her new home.
