Hi! I’m Elsie

Elsie is a very anxious girl who can take a while to trust people and make friends. However, now that she has created close bonds with her carers she isn't as nervous around new people, and takes less time to get used to them. Having said this, she is still a very anxious dog and it will be important to keep a close eye on her body language, to ensure that she is not feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Elsie doesn't play with toys much when people are present, but is starting to show more interest in them and likes to play in her kennel when she thinks no one is watching!

Elsie can be a bundle of energy and loves to bound about, doing lots of zoomies. She also enjoys working for food and leaning new things, which will be beneficial when it comes to training. Elsie needs to live with another dog, because her general behaviour and self confidence drastically improve when she is around other dogs. This little dog really needs a patient and understanding home that makes her feel comfortable and safe, so that she can continue to grow and develop once she has been adopted.
