Gift Aid it?

Does my donation qualify for Gift Aid? In order to Gift Aid your donation, you must pay as much UK Income or Capital Gains Tax as all the charities you donate to will reclaim in the tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. If you pay less Income and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid reclaimed on your behalf in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

How do I change my Gift Aid declaration? Please notify Bristol A.R.C. by letter, telephone or email if you wish to cancel Gift Aid declaration, change your name or home address or if you no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

Unsure whether your donation qualifies for Gift Aid? If you are unsure whether or not your donation qualifies for Gift Aid, please contact a member of the Bristol A.R.C. Fundraising Team on 0117 9803 906 Monday – Friday 9.00-5.00. Alternatively, ask your local Tax Office for more information and request leaflet IR113 Gift Aid.
