Our Urgent Animal Care Unit needs your help
At Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, we're on the front line of urgent animal care in Bristol. We take in thousands of vulnerable animals every year, many of whom require emergency veterinary care to survive. Without our expert team ranging from expert veterinary staff, behaviourists and animal carers, we wouldn't see as many happy endings as we do.
Our Urgent Animal Care Unit was founded thanks to a generous donation from a local supporter and nearly three decades after her kind legacy, we need help to make sure we're equipped to keep offering lifesaving care for animals in desperate situations.
Your donation counts
Every penny raised will go towards the furry, feathered and four-legged residents in our care.
£10 could pay for a slow feeder to aid a poorly pets digestion
£25 could cover a welcome package for abandoned animals, including a toy to call their own, a warm bed and a bowl of nourishing food
£50 could pay for an urgent health check for an animal on arrival
How you can help
Make a difference to animals like Layla
Layla was found as a stray in a nearby park. She had given birth not too long before and had mammary tumours, skin infections, and various other medical issues. She wasn't in a good way when she arrived, and our expert team got to work and operated on her immediately. On investigation, they found a nasty infection in Layla's womb and were forced to do an emergency hysterectomy. Layla's medical condition could've been fatal had it gone untreated. We need your help to support the animals that need it most, like Layla. Your donations mean we can keep that vital work going and ensure that no animal gets left behind. Donate today to give animals like Layla a second chance at a life they deserve.
