Spread joy to animals in need this Christmas
Give a gift that has true purpose this year with a donation to Bristol Animal Rescue Centre. Each year we care for over 14,000 vulnerable animals that need a helping hand. This year we’ve taken in more animals with behavioural issues than ever before, cared for ‘lockdown pets’ that people struggled to look after, and offered free and discounted veterinary support in the community to ensure no animal gets left behind.
Your donation this Christmas will help continue this vital work and give animals in our care a second chance at a happy life.
Your donation counts
Every penny raised will go towards the furry, feathered and four-legged residents in our care.
£10 could pay for a slow feeder bowl to aid digestion
£25 could cover a 'welcome package' for a nervous stray, consisting of a hearty bowl of nourishing food, a warm bed, and some new toys to comfort them in an unfamiliar environment
£50 could pay for a dental health check for a dog
Make a difference to animals like Charlotte
Our teams have been working hard on lots of cases recently, including little Charlotte, a Chihuahua crossbreed (pictured) who came to us in toxic shock and close to death. The team had to act fast, treating her with fluids, antibiotics and oxygen, before she underwent emergency surgery. A hysterectomy was needed as her uterus was at the point of rupturing, but after some time in intensive care, we're delighted to share that she's recovering well and is now full of beans.
Want to help animals like Charlotte live a happier life? We rely entirely on support from people like you to keep our vital work going. Do something amazing this Christmas and help an animal in need.
