Found injured or sick wildlife?

Our team of highly trained Veterinary staff are here to provide care and treatment for injured or sick wildlife. All animals need to be brought into our Clinic here at Albert Road, as we, unfortunately, don’t have the staff resources to be able to collect animals.

If you discover an injured or sick wild animal, and you are able to safely transport it to us, please call us on 0117 972 4567 before beginning your journey. If you are not able to transport the animal to us safely, please call the National RSPCA helpline on 0300 1234 999.

Our main priority is to ensure that the animals are able to return to their natural habitat after their recovery and rehabilitation at a specialist wildlife centre. Our first aid wildlife service helps prevent the suffering of hundreds of wild animals every year.

We run this service Monday – Friday from 8 am – 4 pm.

If you need help outside of these hours you will need to contact the National RSPCA or call your local veterinary service for further help and advice.

We have also put together a useful list of resources and other rescue organisations that may be able to help:
