A second chance for Agatha
Agatha is a mature lady lurcher, at the grand old age of 11. She came to us in September after being found straying and she was in a terrible state. Our team faced a number of challenges with her health, but after a great deal of loving care, she's found a new lease of life.
WARNING: there are some distressing images below, but the story does have a happy ending.
Agatha arrived at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre with a huge mammary tumour, major dental issues and was in poor bodily condition.

Our veterinary team performed multiple surgeries on her mammary area, including the removal of her large tumour. She also underwent extensive dental work to sort out major issues with her teeth, which were causing her significant pain
She’s now healed and the transformation in her has been incredible to watch. She’s gone from a scared, shy girl in so much pain, to a loving, cuddly dog.
It’s thanks to your donations that we’re able to help dogs like Agatha and give them a second chance at a happy life, so please keep them coming - donate here.
