We’re the City’s largest and oldest animal rescue charity and we’re looking for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join our Fundraising and Communications team (and guess what, we sometimes have dogs in the office!).
You’ll confidently deliver all aspects of on-site events (including our annual open Day, Christmas Fair, Quiz nights and more) as well as off-site fundraising events (such as charity beneficiary for local sporting events, pop-up cinema nights etc). In this exciting and varied role, you’ll manage all aspects of our events including; research and planning, execution, compliance and participant recruitment, to marketing, promotion and evaluations. You’ll also promote, recruit participants for challenge style events and support them to reach their fundraising targets and come back again the next year to support Bristol A.R.C.
You’re a great people person and you understand what great donor care looks like – because you’ve done it before. You’re confident and professional when dealing with people on all levels and you’re focused and calm under pressure – event fundraising comes with all sorts of deadlines but you can prioritise effectively and you understand the importance of accuracy, and complying with charity industry regulations.

Salary: £23,460 - £25,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full or part time considered. Full time: 35 hours, 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (with occasional evenings/weekend hours). Part time: We’re interested in hearing from experienced candidates looking for 25 hours per week part time or over.
