As a Communications/PR professional, how does working around animals every single day sound? From dogs and cats, to rabbits, ferrets – and even chameleons, no two days are the same at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.
This is your paw-fect PR job - from photographing and videoing our animals for social media and special campaigns, to speaking on local media about them, and creating innovative, engaging copy and materials to promote our work with them (and we sometimes even have dogs in the office!).
You’re the first point of contact for the media and public through our Communication platforms, and as well as helping to develop and roll out our exciting, new Communications Strategy, you’ll play a key role in helping drive and develop our Charity’s profile and audience reach, to make a direct impact on the lives of animals and pet owners in communities across Bristol.
As a confident copywriter and communicator, you’ll use your experience and creative skills to spot and transform stories into inspirational case studies, to develop and grow our audience reach, and continue increase our brand awareness through creating innovative social content, campaigns and messaging.
With a basic understanding of branding and design, the marketing materials and literature you create will engage and educate local animal-lovers with our 132-year history, our brand and the vital impact our services have on Bristol animals and pet owners.
Based at our Albert Road site in St Philips, Bristol, this is the perfect role for a creative, media-savvy, proactive PR professional with proven Communications/PR experience, who has a passion for animals, people and making a local impact (did I mention we sometimes have dogs in the office?!).
